For 20 years, we’ve been importing Fresh Products into Europe and selling them under the
FRE-PRO brand in most European countries. Our products are designed for professionals, not for home use.
We offer a wide range of high-quality, health-safe scents for various spaces.
Dispensers and holders for toilets and bathrooms, along with professional cleaning chemicals.
We create customized offers to meet specific client needs.
Our journey started at the end of 1991 in Uherské Hradiště, and we officially launched our business in 1992. Back then, it was just the two of us – Vera and Ivo Kalinovi – under the name VERA TRADING.
We had no prior business experience, but what we lacked in knowledge, we made up for in determination and passion.
In the beginning, we focused on hygiene equipment, partnering with leading suppliers from Austria, Germany, the UK, and the USA. As logistics were a challenge in those early days, we expanded with new distribution centers in Prague, Chrudim, and Příbram to streamline operations.
By the mid-90s, we became one of the first companies in the Czech Republic to introduce fragrance products and air fresheners into our offering. A visit to a trade fair in Paris inspired us to take this leap.
In 2000, we rebranded to KALVEI, s.r.o, an acronym of the owners’ names: KALinovi, VEra, Ivo. We moved our headquarters to Prague, where we established a flagship office in Vinohrady, replacing our smaller branch in Dejvice. The company grew rapidly in the early 2000s.
A key moment for us came in 2004 when we formed a partnership with Fresh Products, USA after attending a trade fair in Las Vegas. Fragrance became the focal point of our business, and soon after, we began expanding into other European markets.
In 2012, we launched our own brand, FRE-PRO, for Fresh Products. Over the years, we successfully introduced these high-quality air fresheners to most European countries.
Of course, we didn’t forget about hygiene and cleaning products. As some of our original suppliers evolved, we sought new partnerships. We chose to work with companies known for their quality and global recognition, such as ESSITY and their TORK brand, KIMBERLY CLARK Professional, and INTERCHEM ITALIA, a trusted provider of cleaning solutions.
Our commitment to excellence and innovation has driven us forward, and we continue to grow, bringing high-quality products to professionals across Europe.
In 2022, we celebrated 30 years in the market, and we’re still going strong…
